Since the subject came up, I decided to post
pics of Al's experience. Here they are.

What I learned from Al's branding is that it's a pretty simple thing to do
and an incredibly easy thing to fuck up. This is not something we're going
to be doing at home any time in the near future. I thought that I'd like
to have a brand, but Al was pretty darned uncomfortable for the few days
his. I don't do discomfort.
At least not from the receiving end.
